  • Tips
      • Get rid of the armies
If you're requesting to become a Protectorate, it's a good idea to reduce the armies to the maximum levels yourself (100,000 of each troop type). Otherwise, the extra armies will just be erased, and nobody will profit from them.

      • A Cooperation
A protectorate is a co-operation between a militarily-powered parent warlord, and an economy-based protectorate warlord. A parent warlord can have up to 5 protectorates. Whenever one of the protectorates is attacked, the parent's troops are brought in and used for defense. Protectorates are not allowed to have significant armies, themselves.

In return for this, the protectorates give a tithe of their food and money to their parent warlord.
